Google Chrome OS coming soon

Google Chrome OS is an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at netbooks. Later this year we will open-source its code, and netbooks running Google Chrome OS will be available for consumers in the second half of 2010.
People want to get to their email instantly, without wasting time waiting for their computers to boot and browsers to start up. They want their computers to always run as fast as when they first bought them. They want their data to be accessible to them wherever they are and not have to worry about losing their computer or forgetting to back up files. Even more importantly, they don't want to spend hours configuring their computers to work with every new piece of hardware, or have to worry about constant software updates.

Quick update July 2009

Haven't been updating much on what has been going on for me recently. So here goes... My last update about work had been the launch of our Online Golf booking portal. It has since been going smoothly without requiring a lot attention, the automated process is something that i have been proud of myself. Along the way, there had been some good deals for golf teetimes at some of the Singapore golf courses; so if you happen to play golf, you are most welcome to check it out at www.clickateeonline.com. Now's the time to share about what's next. We have released a Handicapping System and going through a pilot test with one of our participating clubs, Keppel Golf Club. Things are looking good for now and we are ready to go for a full launch very soon. So stay tuned. Besides work, nothing much has been going on for me. Perhaps some self learning on Grails, iPhone SDK and some brushing up. Still work related LOL
